I had the coolest “create the wow” experience Friday! I
was walking out of work and ran into an old friend and he was curious and asked if I still
played any sports. I told him no because I’m preoccupied with school, work and running
my own business. He was blown away that I was only 17 and already had my own
business and it’s real. It made my day to see how excited he got just from me telling him
about my experience and how I’ve grown, it gave me even more confidence.

My favorite moment Friday was probably when
we were all in the kitchen after the dinner was over, and Adrie came in and we all
started cheering because it was an overwhelming feeling of success. We all knew we
absolutely nailed it. Everybody who attended the dinner said it was a great night, the
trivia was fun and a lot of people enjoyed the silent auction. I think having Abe Lincoln
and Mary Todd there added a fun and deeper meaning to the dinner, since it was for his
birthday.

Dave Salander came and spoke with us. I liked how he touched on taking risks in life and in business. My favorite thing he said was, “To
learn from your mistakes is good, but learning from others mistakes is better.” I agree
with that 100%. It is better to know ahead of time what not to do or what path not to go
down.
