CEO visited with lending experts at First National Bank in Tremont to learn about commercial loans and building a personal credit history. We traveled to New Holland to talk with CFO David Pickering, VP of Lending Tyler Hodge, AVP Jacob Harnacke, and Business Development Officer Annie Coers.

Next semester students will be required to present their individual business plans to local bankers at CEO Banker Day, so they were interested to know what it takes to develop a solid business plan as well as the importance of accurate balance sheets, realistic cash flow projections, etc.

And while they won't need to put up collateral for a commercial loan just yet, they learned how it works and what its like working with a local bank.

Our young entrepreneurs are on the brink of independence, so they were especially glad to learn about personal credit, including ways to start building it and how it can help them in the future.
