Did you know? International Paper in Lincoln employs 100+ people who produce around 1 BILLION square feet of corrugated per year. (!) Plant Manager Jeremy Minikel hosted a tour for CEO. He discussed all the ways IP strives to produce a "quality product, on time, and in quantities the customer needs." Topics included quality control, safety procedures, sustainability practices, manufacturing systems, and human resources. After watching a brief presentation, we donned safety gear and went out to the production floor where we got to see boxes in various stages of production from pressing the layers together, cutting, and printing.
