"My vision for the City of Lincoln, Illinois is to always move forward."
Tracy Welch, Mayor spoke with students this morning about the role of government in business. Topics included economic development, taxes, and examples of how small business owners have participated in the governmental process to influenced and shape policy that affects their operation.

After visiting the council chambers (Dray'Den looks pretty at home there, doesn't he?) students also toured the new administrative office down the street. They got an up-close look at the renovations that will accommodate not only Lincoln Illinois Tourism and Lincoln Economic Advancement & Development, Inc. - LEAD, but also work and meeting space for new businesses and nonprofits.

Thank you, Mayor Welch, for taking the time to talk with CEO. And thank you to The City of Lincoln for your continued support of the CEO program!
