The young entrepreneurs had the opportunity to meet with Michael Schmidt, President of Central Illinois Ag and board member of Land of Lincoln CEO.

The morning kicked off with introductions and a look at student leadership roles within the class. From there, Michael guided the team through creative brainstorming for their group business and shared insight on the importance of teamwork: “If one fails, the group fails—so supporting each other is key.” Students then lead Michael theough a group business concept where he was able to add in guidance.
