What a gorgeous morning for a visit to Gail's Pumpkin Patch!
CEO students gained a unique perspective on this beloved Logan County seasonal business.

Gail Apel-Sasse hosted a tour and talked about what it takes to run the pumpkin patch. While it is open for just a few months in the fall, it takes several months of preparation before opening for the season. In addition, the Sasses also plan new things each year to keep the games and other entertainment feeling fresh.

Gail talked with the team about adaptability (very important in agritourism), listening to feedback, staying true to your vision for your business, multiple streams of revenue, networking, partnerships, and much more.

Each student also got to pick out a pumpkin from the patch! Stay tuned for pics of our decorated pumpkins. 🎃

Thank you to Gail and Dave for taking time to show us a "behind the scenes" look at Gail's Pumpkin Patch.
