We took advantage of the beautiful weather and visited The Stable to learn about the equine therapy partnership that April Doolin and Debbie Tedrick have developed.

Did you know that equine therapy doesn't necessarily involve riding a horse? From atthestable.org:
"When inside the arena, all the work is done on the ground with the horses front and center, deliberately unhindered and never ridden; they are allowed to interact as they wish. This creates an environment where, with the support of the professional facilitators, reflection, projection, and deep connections can be made."

The CEO team got to try out this problem-solving model by applying it to the production of their ID badges. They determined their main problem was time. So they spent the morning interacting with the horses to find solutions. Some very unexpected things happened, which allowed the students to explore ideas they hadn't thought of before. It also helped foster better communication!

Thank you, April and Debbie, for taking the team through this powerful process. It was fascinating to learn about this unique resource in our community!
