Dustyn is a junior in high school. He enjoys sports, outdoors activities, friends and family. A well-rounded character and a people person mixed with good work ethic sets him apart from others. Dustyn joined CEO because it will prepare him for his future career. He plans to become a successful CEO. Dustyn is grateful to the investors for this opportunity and wants to thank them.

The trade show was an experience I will never forget. The trade show gave me an opportunity to use my skills that I have learned in CEO: showmanship, conversational skills, planning, and ownership. However, all of this would not have been possible if it weren’t for the investors. I appreciate the investors greatly for their support, they can gain satisfaction in knowing they have changed our lives for the better.

Inviting the students to our class was a great networking opportunity as well as a recruitment. Ninteen students attended the CEO Student Experience Day. We gave the students a taste of the WOW. The WOW is how a CEO students carry themselves and interacts with others. We also made sure to help them with any questions they had and get them rolling on their applications.

Michelle Bauer told us a lot about how she came up and what she learned on her way up. One of the first things she said was that we need to know our audience: what is appropriate to say and when. To find out what we are really like we need to get away from ourselves and our comfort zones for a while. She learned what she could and could not adjust in business and in life; which is something we need to do as well.

This week a group of steering committee members from Clinton came to see how we operate and to
get the gist of the class. I feel like we made a lasting impression on the Clinton board members.
We went above and beyond to show them what CEO is all about. We also showed them that we
are a family, and we all speak with respect to each other. We essentially showed them the “wow” factor.

Mark Shew found passion in shop class. He began to develop skills in the wood shop and later used
the knowledge from his jobs when he grew older and started his own business. He likes to
specialize in building the odd things, which sets him apart from other people. H
