CEO Trade Show Tonight 4:00-6:30 at the American Legion

CEO Business Visits

Lincoln Police Department

Chief Paul Adams

Police Chief Paul Adams had the CEO students over for a tour of the station and to talk about how they run as a business. Students had the experience of touring the jail and the 911 call area, as well as the planning areas where they prepare for disaster relief.

State Farm

Deron Powell

Deron Powell had the CEO students over to his State Farm office to talk about business in a small town. With a population of 1500 people it’s very different than other surrounding communities. It’s a place where everyone knows your name and relationships drive the business. It’s not about numbers it’s about the people you serve, and how can you serve them best.

Shark Tank Event

CEO Board

CEO Students had their Shark Tank day with the board pitching their businesses and selling themselves as business owners. The students had another opportunity to speak publicly about what their businesses and why they are excited. A great preparation for today’s trade show where they will speak to 100’s of people about their business, networking and building relationships that will be critical to growing and being successful.

    Get Involved in CEO

The manner in which the CEO program is funded is critical to its success and sustainability. All funds raised are used exclusively for the Land of Lincoln CEO program. To participate, a 3-year $1000 per year commitment is required. Business Partner Investors commitments of time and energy are also critical to the program's success. Contributions may be tax deductible, as our organization is a 501(c)(3) not for profit organization.

When we are not touring local businesses, we need a place to host the class. During that time, the 9 CEO students and their Facilitator would meet at your site where they would also have guest speakers and guests from the community attend. Hosting requires a facility with internet access and adequately accommodates up to 14 people.

We are looking for people to share real-life stories about the concepts of running a business, from strategic thinking, product development to marketing, and cash flow management. Also, sharing your personal successes and failures are what recent classes have enjoyed the most.

If you are interested in participating in any of the above programs, use our contact form to send us a message
